Community Guidelines & Policies

These rules were set with the agreement of the server team. Occasional changes are immediately binding and it is mandatory for all players to comply. It is no one's but your own responsibility to regularly read the community guidelines and policies.


  1. The player is obliged to regularly inform themselves regarding the importance of the community guidelines and policies. Accordingly, a player can be penalized for an infringement even in ignorance of the community guidelines and policies.
  2. Upon creation of an account on this server, you automatically accept all current and still following guidelines and policies.
  3. The player is obliged to behave according to our guidelines and policies and is expected to report any violations of the community guidelines and policies.
  4. Any form of exploitation in the game, the website, or any other third-party systems or platform setup and moderated by us is strictly prohibited.
  5. All support is done voluntarily, so please do not hold any expectations and respect those who try to help.
  6. Do not give out personal information of anyone, with or without their consent. This covers anything from photos, location, name, and social media accounts. If they want to share something, they can do it themselves.
    • We are not responsible for how information shared by you is used, so think carefully before deciding to share personal information.
  7. Any form of racial discrimination, homophobia, offensive generalizations/discriminatory language, hate speech, insulting, threatening, or harassment is not allowed in-game, communal platforms, websites, or any other systems moderated by us.
  8. Content or context that includes discussions or representations of nudity, sexuality, pornography, violence, or anything that is not appropriate for all ages is considered to be NSFW content and is not allowed.
  9. Discussions or representations related to politics, religion, sexuality, or anything that could provoke an argument are considered a divisive topic and are prohibited.
  10. Users are prohibited from marketing, promoting, advertising, and/or soliciting any product, community hubs, or services that are not related to the game within the Global Talesrunner Community (e.g. in-game chat, forum, website, Discord Server, or any form of communication made possible by Global Talesrunner).
  11. Do not intentionally annoy other members.
  12. Do not lie, provide false information, mislead, or impersonate.


  1. The Community shall act in a way that encourages harmonious social interaction between players, and the Staff.
  2. It is not permitted to harass, denounce, expose or threaten a player mentally/physically. This applies to the in-game chat, forum and Server owned Discord Server.
  3. Spamming any part of the chat is not allowed. This includes whisper messages and shout messages. In-game shouts should be limited according to the number of other players using shouts.

In-game fraud and scam

  1. It is the responsibility of the parties involved to ensure the proper trade exchange occurs. We are not responsible if a player fraudulently gains possession of another's items or accounts.
    • Staff Members are not to be asked to act as middlemen in these transactions.
  2. Scamming is prohibited. The natural definition of the word shall be applied, meaning; an act, with the intent to cheat or defraud another player of their items, account, or any of their possessions, whether in-game or in reality.

Account ownership

  1. All accounts and their contents are the property of the server.
  2. We reserve the right to temporarily take over the account of a user and to validate reports of suspicion.
  3. If an already punished account is validly prosecuted more than once, the account will be locked permanently.
  4. For the purposes of this section, suspicion will amount to either a report by another player or the belief, by the Staff, that the member is acting in a manner that strays from the community guidelines and policies.

Staff Team Members

  1. Be polite and be honest to team members, so they can help you quickly and professionally.
  2. Never impersonate a Staff team member.
    • Staff team members who have a private character in-game can be distinguished by their Pink names are not obliged to do their duties through their personal accounts.
  3. Don't try to benefit from personally knowing a staff team member. Staff Team members are generally advised to never talk about current developments or internal affairs outside the staff team.
  4. Don't bother a staff team member with an issue they do not specialise in. This only reduces the teams' responsiveness and can, if repeated, lead to a temporary expulsion from communal platforms or even a temporary ban.

Recovery of Items

  1. We try our best to recover any lost items by routinely backing up our databases and before conducting any significant changes to the server. but we are not obliged to have items returned, whether it is the player's fault or not. This means that we are not obliged to have items returned in the following cases:
    • Rollbacks/Server crashes
    • Scam/loss through trades
    • Discarding Items
    • Upgrading Items
    • Item Expiration whether if its due date or not
  2. The only exception to this policy is when you lose a webstore item or a purchased item. In this case, you are allowed to ask for the retrieval of the lost item. The webstore item will only be retrieved if the item is lost on the account of the original buyer.

Account sharing

  1. Account and item sharing is permitted at the responsibility of the involved parties.
  2. In the event of an account or item robbery, refer to the Recovery of Items section.

Webpoints, purchases, item- and account selling

  1. It is forbidden for anyone to sell items or services to a third party for real money. You are however allowed to trade your items for in-game currency, consumables, or other items.
  2. It is prohibited to offer an account or items as exchange/sale on 3rd party platforms not officially sanctioned by Global Talesrunner. You may only offer items or accounts on the official Global Talesrunner discord or within the website and the game. The attempt alone will result in penalties for the account and the accounts used by the person breaching this rule.
  3. Players are prohibited to trade for real money. This includes PayPal, Paysafe Card, uKash, etc.
  4. Purchases and donations are non-refundable unless mentioned otherwise.
  5. Should an error be made in the amount of any purchase, the player has 7 days in which to notify Global Talesrunner of the error. Global Talesrunner is under no obligation to give a refund but will ensure that any genuine errors (such as the amount purchased) are rectified.
  6. Purchases that involve or include virtual currency, character equipment, or other consumables are not eligible for a refund.
  7. The retraction of money after payment will result in a permanent ban, provided that the person has received the Webpoints and/or the item.
  8. Any items accompanying a virtual currency purchase can only be claimed by the respective account that made the purchase.
  9. If you happen to get banned after seriously breaking the community guidelines and policies, being banned from our game is not a valid reason for requesting a refund, and nor does it entitle you to any form of compensation as you have agreed to these community guidelines & policies upon registration.

Bugs, Exploits, and Third-party programs

  1. It is forbidden to use non-authorized third-party programs.
  2. The usage of bugs is strictly forbidden, as well as the usage of exploits and automation mechanisms.
  3. Duping will result in an immediate permanent ban.
  4. Programs and tools that provide an unfair advantage are not allowed.
  5. Attempting to dupe or assisting in a dupe will result in a temporary ban.
  6. Using multiple accounts to farm EXP, TR, or items or to gift yourself items through the use of the start-up currency is strictly prohibited and shall be punished with a temporary to a permanent ban depending on the severity of the case.


  1. We always strive for a peaceful and respectful community. This means that we want to largely waive penalties, but we will enforce the rules if needed.
  2. The penalties enforced upon individual players or groups of players are definitive and exercised according to the severity of the infraction at the discretion of staff members.
  3. Possible penalties are:
    • Temporary/Permanent exclusion from events.
    • Temporary/Permanent expulsion from social communal platforms.
  4. The duration of the suspension will be decided accordingly by staff members depending on the severity of the violation.
  5. In the duration of the suspension, all access to the penalized account will be denied.
